Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. The remembrance from your cousin Herb Duncan is especially poignant. As long as you are remembered you will always be with us.

Specialist Four Roger Evans Duncan, Served with Company B, 1st Battalion, 501st Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade, 101st Airborne Division, United States Army Vietnam.

Dear Roger,
Thank you for all your service and sacrifice. You won't and never will be forgotten.

On March,17, 1968 Roger and I were with company B 1st Battalion 501st of the 101st Airborne Division. We were attacking a NVA position but had to cross the Son Bo river. After crossing we engaged the enemy but we did not know we walked into a mine field. Three of us were hit by a mine, do not know who stepped on it. Roger killed and I was very badly wounded. We were under fire as others drug us back across the river. We were medivaced. I was sent all the way back to the"World" or United States. Only God knows why him and not me! Airborne Roger, RIP.

Would like to know Roger's Unit when he died.
