Shipmates separated by 8yrs.
I was asked by a classmate to look the Lt. up on the Wall; not only did we grow up in the same town but we served on the same ship; CV-61 USS RANGER 81-84. It was a big ship in a small world. RIP James.

Their story is still shared
I just heard the story of Lieutentants Duensing and Havilland from their plane captain. He still remembers the last preflight inspection he did with them, and watching their plane as it was catapulted off the Ranger's deck and climbed into the night sky. Two brave men whose memory is still alive, whose story is still being shared.
