always in my heart
Especially at this time i feel such a loss--we had such a great time before you left for Vietnam--i visit your grave often--someone leaves a nickle on your stone apparently he was in boot camp with you--i will always be your big sister

Marine Ducharm’s sister & I went to the Vietnam wall shortly after it was dedicated. We sadly & tearfully rubbed our palms over his name !!

An Unforgettable Soul
Although I myself have never met him, he is my cousin twice removed, which means he's my grandma's cousin. The Ducharme family is incredible and from what I have heard of him, he seems like a great guy to never forget. I went to D.C on a trip in 6th Grade and took a picture of his name on the wall and put down my lucky penny for him, may he rest in peace and in a proud feeling knowing that he has served us well. I will make sure my kids will know of him, and that their kids, and generations to come will never forget him. If anyone has any extra stories/memories to share, I would love to know them! May everyone reading this keep faith and have a good day.
