Dear Paul,
There are no words that can encapsulate my appreciation for your sacrifice. My Father, David Ray Baker served with you and was with you when you gave the ultimate sacrifice. I know you because of him. He never forgot you. I never knew you but think of you and you never left my Father’s memory.

PFC Paul R Drummond was awarded the Bronze Star Medal for Valor for his exemplary courage under fire. He served as a Rifleman and was assigned to L Co, 3rd Bn, 7th Marines, 1st Marine Div.
