Thank You

Dear Sp4 Peter Drouhard,
Thank yo for your service as an Infantryman. Independence Day is approaching, and we remember your sacrifice. We remember all you who gave their all. It has been too long, and it's about time for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

RIP Peter Drouhard

Pete,
Just a quick note to let you know I sure wish we could have met. Your big sister's husband Ben died years ago and left Donna a young widow. We have been together almost 20 years. I love her dearly!
Your mother will be 94 this December 2nd, I will be 51, as we share the same birth date. She is doing just fine, and we plan on keeping her here for many more years, but I know she can't wait to see you again.
Pete, thank you so much for your service to the USA!
I Love YOU,
Mitch Miville, (your brother inlaw)

My Brother

Pete was a great little brother--he loved fast cars, racing and his new wife Ginger. He was a very intelligent person and had such a great wit and sense of humor. He gave his life for his country when his only child was in vitro so they never got to meet. I like to think that he must somehow know his son and grandchildren from his spot in heaven. We love him and miss him still.

Remembering An American Hero

Dear SP4 Peter August Drouhard, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.

With respect, and the best salute a civilian can muster for you, Sir

Curt Carter
