Happy Birthday to the Navy. I feel like today is a fitting day to leave this remembrance. Your legacy and sacrifice haven't been forgotten. It's been about a month since I passed through Great Lakes myself. Fair winds and following seas Sailor.

May those who served never be forgotten. Rest in peace HN. Drohosky, I salute your brave soul. My heart goes out to you and your family. Semper Fidelis "Doc"!

Hospitalman Edward Daniel Drohosky, Served with the Headquarters and Service Company, 3rd Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, Third Marine Amphibious Force. He was assigned to Company I, 3rd Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment. Third Marine Amphibious Force when he was Killed in action.
