Hi Uncle Larry
Hi Uncle Larry,
I really wish I could have met you, but even though I never got that chance you are someone I look up to a lot. You are very loved by everyone in the family. It's hard for my other uncles, my aunt and my dad to talk about it because it's hard for them to loose their brother so I don't know so much about you but what I do know is very inspiring and so important to me. You've saved lives and gave your own for us today. No one can ever fully thank you for that....Grammy is so proud of you. I love her and miss her so much. You keep her safe for us. There's a lot that I wish I could have done with you. There's a lot everyone wished they could have done with you...you left this world too early. But highly respected. 6 days ago I turned 16, I got my permit, and I'm just starting to drive.....watch out for me please. Watch out for all of us......we will always be thinking of you. Again, I really wish I could have met you. You're always remembered, respected, and loved. I love you uncle Larry.
Love, your awesome niece Julia! Xo

Larry, a great friend
Larry: I'm sorry I missed you after you left for Boot Camp, because, I was, myself, returning from basic training. I was completely shocked and deeply hurt when I found out in the paper, of your passing, I was in Thailand at the time..
We had some great times as kids The Y swim meets, you were one hell of a breaststroker, the sleep overs behind your house in the high school football
field, we never got caught running around downtown during the middle of the night.
Whenever I'm in D.C. I always make it a point, to stop by the "Wall" and visit.
Larry you were a great FRIEND and I still think of you and your family often even after these 45 years..
Rest Peacefully my friend, we will meet again...
