I'm so very sorry for your loss. My husband always hoped to find Capt Jack Dove. He always kept his bracelet close. He would be happy to know about this website. My husband served in Vietnam 69-70. He died five yrs ago from complications of Agent Orange.

CAPT Jack Paris Dove Sr. is buried with LTC Boyd E. Squire in a shared plot at Arlington National Cemetery.

I saved my own money and ordered the POW bracelet when I was 10 yrs old, I wore it every day with pride. I clearly recall first thing in the morning I would check the newspaper hoping to see his name as found alive, that is when we could take the bracelet off. I continued to wear it for a number of years. Unfortunately he didn’t show up in the paper. I recently found the metal bracelet and looked on the web, his info came right up. Thank you Captain Jack Dove for your service, I was proud to wear your name.

I still wear the armband for Captain gov that I got when I was in high school in 1969 it's a little tattered but I remember every day may he rest rest in

Dove, Sr. (AFSN: FR-79692), United States Air Force, for extraordinary achievement while participating in aerial flight over Southeast Asia on 21 April 1967. His devotion to duty and courage under all conditions serve as an inspiration to his fellow flyers. His actions reflect the highest credit upon himself and the United States Air Force.
