Remembering my first cousin
Scotty was a true American hero. My first cousin was always my hero. I remember the summers when my Aunt Margie he and his brother Buddy and sister Sheila would visit our grandmother during the summer in Newport News, Va. I was so sad when I learned of his MIA status. It was the year I graduated from high school in 1969. I rode my Harley-Davidson to Washington, D.C. in 2008 to the Wall and rubbed his “name on the wall” to forever cherish and remember him.

Thinking of you
The bracelet that I’ve worn for decades reminds me every day of you and your sacrifice to our country. You are forever in my heart and the hearts of a grateful nation.
Thank you.

honoring you...
Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. While all deaths in Vietnam are tragic that you died just three days after your 25th birthday is especially so. May you rest in eternal peace.
