Remembering Corporal Dorsey
I am a student studying the Vietnam War. I chose Corporal William Banfield Dorsey to honor because my middle name is William and my last name is Dorsey. I am eternally grateful for the sacrifice that Corporal Dorsey showed in the war. It is an honor to share the name of someone who would give their life in order to protect the peace of the world. Everyone who knew you would say that you were a noble and patriotic person who would do anything to protect and preserve the freedoms that make this country great. I am honored that you sacrificed your life for the betterment of mine. Rest in Peace.

Thank You
Dear Sir,
I am a senior at Gridley High School in Gridley, IL and as a class project, our Consumer Economics class is posting remembrances to courageous veterans who perished during the Vietnam War.
Although we have never met, I am extremely grateful for the sacrifice you unselfishly gave to our country. You gave up everything that was important to you in order to fight for our great nation. We are forever in debt to you for your brave gift of liberty to all Americans. Your death was not in vain. May you rest in peace.
Gratefully,
Joel Campbell
