Specialist Four Thomas E. Doran was awarded the Silver Star Medal for his conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity in action. He served as an Airborne Qualified Infantryman and was assigned to C CO, 1ST BN, 327TH INFANTRY, 101ST ABN DIV.
