Remembering Cousin Ray

It's 2023 Ray, remembering you, your mom & dad at the Hillside cemetery Waterbury, CT that summer day they brought you home. Your mom & dad were so proud of all you had accomplished. The family remembers you fondly and lovingly. The only scars in heaven, are on the hands that hold you now.

honoring you...

Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. The remembrance from your grad school roommate Richard Molinelli is poignant. As long as you are remembered you will always be with us.

Ray and I were grad school roommates at UCONN in 1967.

Ray and I were roommates for 5 months at UCONN where we both were grad students. I was a chemistry major, and Ray was studying Health Sciences. He was the most wonderful room mate that one could have! We became good friends, and I tried to contact him after I got married but could never connect. I had lunch with a vendor 20 years later who was fortuitously Ray's roommate in college, and who told me that Ray had become a navy pilot and was killed over Viet Nam on his first mission. I pray for him often. God rest his soul, and I know that he is in heaven.
