Revenge
Glad I got to visit his parents, and glad that I got all 3 of the NVA responsible for his death. My revenge was brutal and sadistic. He had been my RTO earlier, and I got him a job with the C/O thinking it would be safer for him. There was no safe place there.

I've never met you but it feels like your an old Friend!
Larry we've never met but in 1975-76 I moved to Boonville to stay with my aunt she lived not far from your parents house. While going to school I met your brother and sister. Your brother and I became pretty close I remember when he got his first car we would ride around the old dirt roads around there doing what teenagers do your brother would talk about you quite often enough that it left an lasting impression on me that has lasted going on 50 years now. I haven't seen or talked to your brother since I left Booneville in 1976 But you and your story has been with me ever since well its been nice to finally talk to you. Thank you for your sacrifice And maybe someday I'll get to meet you face to face.
sincerely yours Bill

Dear Sp4 Larry Dodd,
Thank you for your service as an Infantryman. Your 49th anniversary just passed... It is Memorial Day, and we remember all you who gave their all. It has been too long, and it's about time for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels
