Thinking of you
Don, Ol' Buddy from East Rome High School, Rome, GA, not many days pass that I do not remember you and your sacrifice. I have written op eds in the Rome News paper honoring you, and all those of the Nam era. Such a sad time!
I was drafted in '70, but was not sent to Nam. I spent my time after training with the 82d Abn Div at Ft. Bragg till my ETS in late '71.
I carry your spirit with me all the time. Till we meet in Heaven, Ol Buddy! Look for me on my way up.
All The Way!

in honor of my mom's friend
Thank you for serving, Donnie. You were one of my mom's Sondra Cantrell's friends when the two of you were kids. I hope you are resting in the arm's of the Savior. My mom spoke of you a bit when I was growing up.
