Vietnam Veterans of America
I was an active member of the Vietnam Vets of America back in the 1980's when I was stationed in Seattle while serving in the US Navy. I donated and received a MIA wrist band with David's name and rank on it. I have had this for more than thirty years now and just today came across this webpage. I caught the tail end of the Vietnam war and only participated in the evacuation of Saigon and Phnom Penh, not "In country" like David and so many others. Thank you for your service David, it's been an honor to carry this wrist band all of these years. Rest in peace homeboy (I am also from Oregon) , you are not and will never be forgotten. I'll see you on the other side shipmate .

NEVER FORGOTTEN
We were best friends in high school, I often remember the adventures we shared.
I named my first born son after you.
My heart ached when I heard of your loss.
Rest ineach my dear friend, until we meet again
Larry.
