THE WALL OF FACES

Second Lieutenant Thomas Gerard Dineen Jr., Served with the 2nd Platoon, Company M, 3rd Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, Third Marine Amphibious Force.

My father passed away several years ago, and he didn't talk a lot about his experiences in the 1960s. I was speaking with my mother last night about the old days, and she told me that one of his best friends at Penn was lost in Vietnam (which I had never had any inkling about) - and this brought me here. I was sorry to hear of Tom's tragic passing, but please know that his service and sacrifice continues to echo onward.

I'll never forget them. A true patriot and man for all seasons as his name suggests. On the rugby pitch it was always, "With you". It still is, brother.
