My regrets
Mike, You are a great friend and a great roommate..... Unfortunately you crashed with my great friend Barry Speare. I left vietnam three weeks prior to you passing........ Never realized until july 1992, When I met barry speare at a VHPA reunion in atlanta..... At the 2000 VHPA reunion In washington d c, Your name was under one of our plates at our table at the reunio...... No connection to us sitting there at that table...... You were sitting at our table.....Your name was on a slip of paper, And to this date, barry speare has that slip of paper inside of his CAV Hat..... May you rest in peace Mike..... God bless you, Gary Spooner.

Thank You
Dear WO Michael Dickus,
Thank you for your service as an Utility/Observation Helicopter Pilot. Yesterday was the 43rd anniversary of the last battle of the war. It has been too long, and it's about time for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.
