THE WALL OF FACES

I remember Gary as always being a nice guy and fun. I went to the Vietnam memorial in DC on my 70th birthday and I stood there found Gary and all the others we lost from our class of 1965 and I wept thinking of all that we lost.

Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. Your Silver Star citation attests to your courage and devotion to your fellow soldiers. As long as you are remembered you will always be with us.

Dear Cpl Gary Diaz,
Thank you for your service as an Indirect Fire Infantryman with Delta Company, 2nd Battalion, 12th Cavalry, 1st Cavalry. It is Mother's Day, and I wish you all were here with your moms. It has been too long, and it's about time for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

Gary, I don't have the words to express how much your and your family's sacrifice mean to me. You will NEVER BE FORGOTTEN. RIP Warrior.
