do not stand at my grave and weep

Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die.

As long as you are remembered you will never die....

For my uncle I hardly knew.....

Francis - I can barely remember you because of my age but I do remember you at Grandpa house playing with me and carrying me around on your shoulders. A big thank you for serving in the military. I wish I would have had more opportunities to be around you. However, since I didn't, every time I go to Washington DC I make an effort to come visit you at the wall and take a make a pencil rubbing of your name and give it to mom. God Bless you and keep good care of you. Until that time we meet again. With Love -
