LCpl Dewberry's body was the only one that we could not recover in July 1968 on Hill 689. We believed his body had been destroyed by artillery, air strikes, and mortars. The Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency ("DPAA") however has not given up. They need to get in touch with Marines who actually saw LCpl Dewberry fall, or saw his body.

USMC records show that Cpl Dennis M. Coelho (2297571) and PFC Daniel T. Nelson (2321497) witnessed Dewberry's death. If you can put me in touch with either of these men, please do.

I ordered a bracelet for a Marine. They sent me yours and found out we were born on the exact same day.....it was a shock and a blessing. You are in my thoughts every day and I celebrate our birthday for you.
