Soldiers Come and Go

Hello my name is Jamie Dennison and I am part of the Gridley High School posting project. This saying “soldiers come and go” means a lot to people. Soldiers do come and go. Your family is the one that needs to believe that you are not going to go. Although you did go you will always be remembered. There is no possible way that your accomplishments will be left forgotten. You have done more for this country then you probably think you have. Your dedication and bravery are something that put you in combat. You did not have to leaver your family but you did. You are an incredible person. You are amazing and I pray that your family realizes it. You died a HERO. You will remain a hero in my heart and the hearts of thousands of other people who lost someone in action. You came and did what GOD sent you to do. You are a HERO. You are also a special blessing sent by GOD to do good works, which you accomplished during your time on earth. Please don’t forget that.

God Bless,
Jamie Dennison

thank you

Leaving behind your family, friends, and personal belongings, you chose to make the ultimate sacrifice. Being part of the Gridley High School Posting Project, it is our goal for all veterans who lost their life, to have a remembrance posted. You paid the price for our freedom and us. You are truly a hero in my eyes. God bless you always.

Sincerely yours,
Jenn Ringger

Thank you

Dear Sir,
As a sophomore in the world history class at Gridley High School in Gridley, Illinois, I am currently involved in the Gridley High School Posting Project. The students have been assigned to leave remembrances to the soldiers who lost their lives in the Vietnam War. However, I could not be more proud to have this opportunity to thank you for your efforts and courage during the battle. You helped in ensuring freedom across the lands of foreign countries, and also fought for the country that you loved. You inspire me to also show a commitment to my homeland and show support like you and so many of your fellow soldiers did. Thank you for being a role model for the future generations. May your life never be forgotten.
