Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. As long as you are remembered you will always be with us.

I'm just passing through and noticed that this soldier was from my moms area where she grew up. Mom was also a Desselle from Avoyelles Parish. Mom was there up till the 40's. The Desselle's actually came directly from France in the 1700's.

Richard, I remember how much all of us looked up to you. !y favorite memory is the way you had nicknames for your younger cousins, how excited we were when we found out that you had asked Penny t to marry you and how sad we all were when you left, not knowing that you would never come back. We miss you, we are !along sure your mom is well.

Thank you for your service and your sacrifice. Thank you for stepping up and answering your country's call. Rest easy knowing you will never be forgotten.

Thank you for your service as an Infantryman. It has been too long, and it's about time for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.
