Remembering my cousin Joseph Manuel Aragon

I remember being in basic training Ft Ord, California in Feb or Mar, 1960. My cousin Junior was an army instructor at the base. He heard I was stationed there and he came and took me to his house for dinner. I met his wife and had a great dinner (better that army chow). My acting sergeants treated me real good after that. I still remember when I heard that he was MIA and later KIA. He was about a year and a half from retirement when they sent him to Nam. If his granddaughter would send me her e-mail or answer mine I would like to know more about Junior. I never saw him again after basic training.

A grandpa ; a hero.

I never recieved the pleasure of meeting you, but sites like this preserving your legacy I cherish. I'll fovever miss you and hope to meet you some day. You left a loving family and a happy wife and kids, they remember you and feel the same as I. I love you Grandpa, rest in peace.
