do not stand at my grave and weep
Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there. I did not die.
I am not there. I do not sleep.

I was on Sgt. Derosier Duster on that day of the Ambush.
I was the Corpsman with the 2nd squad of Marines he was escouting back to the Rock Pile. Every Marine on his Duster along with me were wounded . I was the only person who was shot in the Ambush & everyone else were wounded by Scrapnel from gernades or RPG. I never knew what happened to him after he left the USS Repose. God Bless him he was a Hero & always will be in my eyes. J.L.Eisenhauer HN 3/3/3 India Company
