Never Forgotten
Dear Soldier,
I am writing to you on behalf of our Gridley High School Posting Project. Our high school is posting remembrances to Vietnam Veterans. Some of us have done 200 posting a semester. My name is Amanda Kinney, and I am 17 years old. You were close to my age when you fought for our country and gave the Supreme Sacrifice. You died fighting for the country you and I believe in, the United States of America. I sit here and wonder would I have the courage to do what you did, and I honestly don’t think I could. I would be so scared to go through what you soldiers went through, not knowing if you would live to see another day, not knowing if you would get to accomplish all that you had planned on accomplishing after high school and college, but you were strong and brave! I just want to thank you for your Supreme Sacrifice. You will never be forgotten!
Never Forgotten,
Amanda

HERO OF WILLIAMS, AZ.
I LOOKED UP AT YOUR PICTURE ON THE WALL OF WILLIAMS HIGH SCHOOL. I KNEW ALL OF YOUR BROTHERS AND SISTER, BUT UNFORTUNTILY I NEVER GOT TO MEET THE REAL HERO OF THE DENT FAMILY. THAT IS BRUCE DENT. IT DID'NT DAWN ON ME BACK THEN WHO YOU WERE. BUT AS I GROW OLDER AND BEFRIEND MANY VIET NAM VETS I RELIZE THAT YOU ARE THE ONE OF THE HEROS OF WILLIAMS, AZ. THANK YOU FOR HELPING PEOPLE OBTAIN LIFE, LIBERTY, AND FREEDOM. YOUR DEATH WAS NOT IN VAIN. SEE YOU IN THE SPIRIT WORLD.
