Dear Uncle
My memories of you are the letters that you wrote my great grandmother, grandfather and my mother (your sister) and the many photos of you mostly of your military life. As I read these posts of you and your platoon friends, I feel more connected with you and for that I’m grateful. You will always be our hero. Thank you for your service. We love and miss you dearly.

Sergeant Andy, it has been 50 years since you died on that ridge in Vietnam. I still remember that day and will always remember you. With greatest respect.
