I am an A-3 NFO, and was sent to the Oriskany to replace Ray after the accident. I will never cease wondering why I came back, and others didn't. Even though Ray and I never met, he is still a part of my life.

Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. The remembrance from your sister Regina is touching. As long as you are remembered you will remain in our hearts forever…..

Never Forget

Ray, we go back to AOCS when we were Officer Candidates. I remember our time at NATTC Brunswick where we finished up Airborne Electronic Warfare School. I still tell the story about the maraschino "cherry' pie. I have missed your Italian-New Yorker sense of humor ever since we failed that Radar Nav mission at VAH-123. I was very angry with your pilot, the US Navy, and even God for your death. I've harbored that anger for many years. It took a lot of therapy to drop the anger.
