LOTS OF MEMORIES IN THAT FACE
JOHNNY AND I WERE FRIENDS IN RODEO CLUB. HE WAS A COWBOY IN A TIME WHEN THAT WASN'T A COOL SKILL TO CLAIM.
WHEN WE WERE OLDER I HAD SUCH A CASE ON HIM. LOVESTRUCK!! WE BOTH OUT GREW THAT AND HE MOVED TO OKLAHOMA WITH HIS PARENTS. LOST TRACK BUT WAS STRICKEN WHEN I HEARD ABOUT THE CRASH. THOSE ARE A FEW OLD MEMORIES BUT STILL TREASURE KNOWING HIM AND HIS FAMILY. HIS BABY BROTHER "LITTLE BIT" DIED LAST WEEK. STILL GOOD KEEPSAKES THOSE TIMES.
SEE YOU LATER OLD FRIEND

do not stand at my grave and weep
Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there. I did not die.
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.

Thank You
Dear Sp5 John Deaton,
Thank you for your service as a Huey, UH-1 Helicopter Repairer with the 1st Cavalry. It is so important for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

Thank You
Thank you so much for giving your life so that I can live in a country with freedom. It has always been difficult for me to understand the kind of sacrifice our soldiers have made, but after researching you I finally connected and understood at least part of the experiences and hardships of your service.
