A high school and Citadel class mate and friend.
So full of himself, so energetic, so much going on all the time. We spent some good times cruising around Florence in his Corvair, crossed the Ashley River Bridge a few times to during visits to Charleston, boy that was scary! I think of him often and of his family. Should have kept in touch with them!

Not forgotten after all these years
Phil was a member of my unit, Advisory Tm 86 in Long An Province, and my friend. We were all devastated when he was killed in action against the enemy, not long before he was due to return home. On May 19 of this year, as every year, he is uppermost in my memories of the tragedy of Viet Nam
