THE WALL OF FACES

We lived in Tucson, Az during the same time Major DeSoto and his family were stationed at Davis Monthan AFB. I baby sat their children many times. A wonderful family, warm and friendly. It was devastating to hear he had been listed as MIA. God bless Col DeSoto in his Heavenly home.

COL Ernest Leo De Soto was repatriated back to the United States in early 2023.

He is buried in the Golden Gate National Cemetery in San Bruno, CA.

Your sacrifice is not forgotten.

Thank you everyone for your support and prayers. It is amazing after all this time my family finally got the call that USAF Pilot Ernest DeSoto's remains have been recovered. It has been a long and painful journey. We are working with the military putting together a funeral with full honors. His remains will be flying in from Pearl Harbor in less that two weeks now. It was special to see all the messages posted here, and they are most appreciated. Thank you for all the prayers. He is finally coming home to rest where he belongs. Brad
