A Friend Remembered
Rest in eternal peace my friend. You left us too early in your life. I will always remember our friendship while in the 189th AHC. The good times and memories including my visit to your home and then your visit to my home in Indiana, our trip to Albuquerque to visit my school friend and all the good times we had while at Ft Carson. You were funny, kind and I you always had my back. They called us "twins" because we were always together in our adventures. I hope you are at peace. God bless.

do not stand at my grave and weep
Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die.
As long as you are remembered you will never truly die....
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die.
As long as you are remembered you will never truly die....
