Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. The remembrance from Sharon Noris Hickey is touching. As long as you are remembered you will always be with us.

Thank You
Dear PFC Philip De Lorenzo,
Thank you for your service as an Infantryman. It has been too long, and it's about time for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

my fathers friend
Philip,
My Father Fred was a good friend of yours back in Randolph. Back in 1992 my 8th grade class went to D.C. as our class trip. My father had asked me if i was going to the wall. I said i'm sure we are. He told me your name and asked if i would be able to get a tracing of your name. As a dumb teenager i agreed but did not think much of it. I had no idea the affect it would have on me. Tracing your name as my hand trembled i began to understand the sacrifice you made. After handing my dad the tracing i could see how much it hurt him to see your name. I went back in 2009 and this time i made a tracing for myself.
Phillip i never knew you but i see the effect just your name had on my Dad. You were a special person who will not be forgotten.
