We Will Remember
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them.
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them.

More on my best friend
I want to continue the note that i left 0n 5/31/2019. De Carlo was a happy guy. He always had a smile on his face, even when confronted with danger in Vietnam. De Carlo and I arrived in Vietnam as "cherries" in May, 1967. We faced joy and absolute fear together. De Carlo was a good soldier, a brave soldier. We were soldiers together. My deepest guil and regret are that I allowed De Carlo to go to a mountain top cave without cover. We lost De Carlo that day 8/27/67. I have carried guilt for 52 years. I always wanted to contact your family De Carlo, but I was afraid to. Forgive me my friend. Se you in Heaven.
