THE WALL OF FACES

My dad's name was Anthony J DeBono and when I googled it, this soldier popped up. My brother was born 3 months apart from this soldier in 1948. My dad was in the army in WWII, fought for 5 years in 5 campaigns. I feel a connection to this soldier, even tho I never knew him.....he has our family DeBono my dad's name, name and lived in NY, only a few miles from us. We thank him for his service and ultimate sacrifice.

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them.

Private First Class Anthony Jay De Bono was a medical specialist with the 199th Light Infantry Brigade, 3rd battalion, 7th Infantry.

May those who served never be forgotten. Rest in peace PFC. De Bono, I salute your brave soul. My heart goes out to you and your family.
