In Memory
Mike Day was my best friend in the Marine Corps. We first met at MCCES in San Diego in October 1965. We attended Basic Electronics School, Radio Fundamentals School and Ground Radio Repair School, Graduating in July 1966 as Corporals. Then off to Staging Battalion, and arriving in Viet Nam October 6, 1966. He was assigned to 3rd Tank Battalion, I went to 3rd Motor Transport Battalion. I will never forget my friend.

We Will Remember
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them.
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them.

Dear Sgt Michael Day,
Thank you for your service as a Radio Technician. It is so important for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.
