POW/MIA bracelet

I wore his POW/MIA bracelet the whole time I was in the Army and National Guard, and passed it on to a dear friend of mine who continued to wear it until her retirement. It now is in her Shadowbox. We will never forget his sacrifice. From the Showme State, Huaah! THIS WE'LL DEFEND!

Thank You for Watching Over my Dad

Growing up my father would not speak much about his time in the Army. It was only after I joined the Army that he began sharing his experiences. The Traveling Vietnam Wall came to town and I invited my father to go with me, and was surprised when he said yes. The first name he wanted to find was Sgt. Anspach.
Once we found his name, my father began to cry and told me the story about the final mission. My father was about 18 years old at the time and served under Sgt. Anspach. He spoke very highly of the man he was, and the mentor/leader he was to his men.

Thank you Anspach family for your sacrifice, it has not gone unnoticed.

He is always remembered

Hi Cindy,
I have your dad's bracelet that I got in DC in the 80's at The Wall. I have worn it every Memorial Day, Veterans Day and Fourth of July in his honor as was the promise I made when I got it. I have found his name in DC and on the Moving Wall. He is not forgotten. He is remembered all the time. I just wanted you to know that.
