Not Forgotten

I have not forgotten you. I chair the Adoption Committee for The National League of Families of Prisoners of War and Missing in Action in Southeast Asia. We will always remember the 1,889 Americans still unaccounted for in Southeast Asia and the thousands of others that lost their lives. We will not stop our efforts until all of you are home where you belong.

We need to reach the next generation so that they will carry on when our generation is no longer able. To do so, we are attempting to locate photographs of all the missing. If you are reading this remembrance and have a photo and/or memory of this missing American that you would like to share for our project, please contact me at:

The Man Behind the Bracelet

After nearly 25 years, I've been reunited with my missing Ricardo Davis bracelet.

In your honor and for those serving in the US military, I'm wearing it again. Believe it or not, you and your courage have inspired me and changed my life in many ways. Bless you, brother.

Ricardo Davis

Your name is the first bracelet I wore. You are in my thoughts and prayers. I corresponded with your wife who asked me to remember you and pray for you. I do.

The guy on my bracelet.

I carried hope for his safe return for so many years, even though I had never met him or his family. After all these years I still watch to newspaper for information about him with any story concerning POWs or MIAs. I hope that his family has found some peace, but expect that they will always wonder. May he someday be returned to his home soil.
