Love and Prayers
I was 17 when I met Butch. He was my first love and my first
true heartbreak. He was drafted and left Birmingham before Christmas. In March he was gone. A phone call I will never forget from his mother, a funeral
I will never forget, a pain that is still present after all these years.
He made a difference in my life.
Every letter he sent was signed
Love and prayers. How remarkable that I found this site
nearly fifty years after his death on Valentines Day. Butch has never been forgotten. RIP

Thank You
Dear Sgt Cecil Davis,
Thank you for your service as an Airborne Qualified Indirect Fire Infantryman. We are celebrating Passover and Easter. It is a time of joy, and may that be yours in heaven. It is so important for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.
