You replaced me in operation Beaver chage because I had both wrists broken and the doctor would not release me you paid the highest sacrifice it was supposed to be me not you I have carried and still carry this burden with me it will never go away I shed tears almost every day you are in my heart and mind . I’ll be there to visit you and we can talk like we used for now Rest In Peace dear friend Paul

THANK YOU

Dear PFC Albert Darling,
Thank you for your service as a Wireman. Today is Good Friday, and Passover begins tonight. Easter is coming up. Happy Easter. It is so important for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

Remembering An American Hero

Dear PFC Albert James Darling III, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.

With respect, Sir

Curt Carter

Forever in our hearts

Though I did not get to meet my Uncle , I did however get to hear many wonderful stories of him growing up. An honor to say that he was my Uncle.
