Teaching Us Kids
We lived across the street from the Dallas family. Before Richard went away he would teach us youngsters football plays. We were so cool having an older guy hang with us.
Thanks Marine brother.

Veteran's remembering their comrades
Friend and fellow church deacon gave me a list of friends who he served with in Vietnam. My friend Philip R., is very guarded in talking about his experiences in Vietnam, and he has opened up to me, where I was never in the service, however feel a close bond to those who have served this county. Richard Howard Dallas was the 1st casualties of Philip's outfit and was lost at sea. My wife and I will be headed to Washington DC for the Walk for Life and will visit the Vietnam Memorial and locate a few names that Philip served with.
