Your Memory Persists
I’ve had your bracelet since I was a student in the Corps at Texas A&M. It stayed with me through the Air Force and back into civilian life. I still keep it close. It is a constant reminder of the ultimate sacrifice many young men and women are willing to, and do make. I hope one day your family will receive final closure and you receive the final honors you deserve for standing in the gap to preserve our freedom.

Uncle Doug
Uncle Doug, I was 4 when you left and probably never met you. But Aunt Jo has told me about you and what kind of person you were. Thank you for your service

50 Years Later
When I still lived in New New York State a cousin was giving the metal bracelets of MIAs and I asked for one. She was surprised because the idea was to pray and I was an atheist. I certainly thought about him a lot. I came across the bracelet today and tried the internet. I feel like I've found a long lost friend. I am 77 years old and met Jesus 35 years ago when we lived in Oakland County. May Douglas rest in peace.

You are not forgotten and motivate me daily
I retired from the Air Force after 26 years. I have worn a bracelet containing your name for over 15 years. I think about your sacrifice every day and when my life seems hard, I am reminded that it could be worse. Thanks for your service!
