Bracelet
When I was in high school I wore a POW/MIA bracelet with Major Cuthbert’s name on it. I prayed for him everyday. I still think about him all these many years later.

Your Father is not forgotten and we honor his sacrifice
My mother, who passed away in 2001, was President of the American Legion Auxiliary for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and wore your bracelet. She and my father dedicated their lives to the Legion and to serving servicemen and their children all their lives; me and my brother were raised by their Legion friends. I found his bracelet among her most cherished keepsakes when she passed away - she never forgot him but probably never knew his fate. I have kept the bracelet since her death on my desk and finally looked here to find out what happened to him. I was deeply saddened to see he did not survive. I did not serve, but my father was in the Army Air Corps in WWII and I've always appreciated and respected those who served and honored those who lost their lives. Please know that he will be remembered and honored by our family for his sacrifice. As my HS Latin teacher always said: Pax vobiscum

Thank you all for remembering my father
I can't say thanks enough to all of you who cared enough for my father, Bradley G. Cuthbert, to post your memories and prayers, and for sharing your histories and feelings about him and that terrible time of waiting, of not knowing, of wondering. You all carried him during that time, your prayers and thoughts and wishes. He did not make it out of Vietnam, but he and my mother (as of this year) are together again, this time in Heaven. He had a family, son and daughter and brothers and sisters. Now he has so many nieces and nephews, and grandkids and even great-grandkids. God bless you all.
