THANK YOU
Dear Sn Gary Curtis,
Thank you for your service as a Seaman. Yesterday was St. Patrick's Day. Happy St. Pat's. It is so important for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

Learning Who You Are
I never knew you. But today your brother came in to the newspaper I work at looking for a photo of you that we published over 40 years ago. He wanted to include the photo in a Veterans tribute he wants to place in our newspaper in your honor. Unfortunately we couldn't locate the photo for him. His presence in our office touched all of our hearts. After he left we continued to search online for more information about you. We learned of your name on the Memorial Wall and we learned of your sacrifice and how you passed.
I hope you know that your brother is thinking of you today, as I'm sure he has on many days. He was happy that I found your birth and death dates, as he said he didn't know those. He wrote them down in the notebook he had with him.
God Bless you Gary Curtis and thank you!
