I was in 4th Grade

My Name is Denny I was in 4th grade at the time of your death. Our principal came on the overhead speaker and asked your brother Patrick to please come to the principals office. I sat directly across from him in School. I looked at him like oh boy are you in trouble. When he returned from the principals office he was crying and I asked him are you okay and he said No I have to go home my brother was killed in Viet Nam. I never forgot that day and I even attended your wake at Sullivans. Last summer I visited the Viet Nam memorial with my 3 boys
and we looked up your name. Thank you for your service and your sacrifice
you are not forgotten 47 years later my friend.
