Remembering Jimmy
Jim was one of my best childhood friends. We attended St. Rita Grade School together. We played on the same softball team. Jimmy was one hell of a hitter. I remember visiting his home many, many times. His father was a Chicago police officer. Jim started dating a neighborhood girl and she asked me "is there something wrong with Jimmy?" She explained that they three dates and he never even tried to kiss me. I told Jimmy was just aa little shy.
