Thank you for your service as an Infantry Unit Commander. Tomorrow is St. Patrick's Day. Happy St. Pat's. It is so important for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

My buddy Eugene
Eugene was the class clown! But don't do something stupid he would be right in your face!!! I remember the time we were riding the BKW school bus home and he kept standing up. Our bus driver "Murph" stopped the bus and told him to get off the bus.... Eugene refused and Mr. tough guys yells out to the bus driver "I am going to tell my Grandmother!" (whom he lived with) the entire bus cracked up. After a one hour stand still the Principal showed up as the bus was now an hour late delivering all of us to the Westerlo area and Eugene went with the Principal and the rest of us were finally able to go home!! On Halloween one year while taking our younger brother and sisters around to collect candy he confronted us with shaving cream- I dont know how but I threatened him and when he squirted us I grabbed his arm and yanked him and he went over my head and landed on his feet..... he never bothered us again.... It was a fluke I swear.... RIP my friend Eugene and I hope you are smiling down on us and watching over us your old friends.
