"My" POW/MIA

I wore a bracelet with your name from 1971-73 in Grammar school. I always had your name in the back of my mind. I wrote your mom, she sent me that very pic with a letter I still have. I had no idea you were found. What a great relief and closure for your family. May you rest in peace.

And Now There's 3

I had found this page a couple of years ago and found 2 young men I went to school with in Hoopeston. I knew where they were. Then I came upon a story of you, my heart broke, the memories rushed in from a childhood friend "down home". I didn't know you were MIA and was sad but so happy you were coming home. I watched the video's and cried with so many memories going thru my mind. May you rest in peace and TY for your sacrifice. Smith School and romps in the country.. the best of times. You will always have a place in my heart for those were the good times. If I ever make it back home, I'll come visit, if not... I'll see you on the other side.

POW/MIA Bracelet

I found your name on the Wall and had your bracelet with me.
I had intended to leave it by your name, but I couldn’t part with it. I just read that you are no longer MIA. Glad you are home.

THANK YOU

Dear SSGT Kenneth Cunningham,
Thank you for your service as an Aerial Sensor Specialist. You are still MIA.
PLEASE COME HOME.
It is so important for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.
