Thinking of You
We met in junior high school. I was 12 and you were 14. You were my boyfriend. You were a kind sweet person. You moved away and I didn't see you again until you came back to see me right before you left for Vietnam. You said you would come back and visit me and introduce me to your girlfriend. But you never got the chance to come back. I saw your picture in the paper that December with an article that said you had been killed in the line of duty. I think of you often.
