School Friend and Brother In Arms
Bill, I will always remember you not only back in Pacoima Jr. High, but the time we spent at Mag-16, Marble Mountain, Viet Nam. How would anyone believe that we would meet up again after almost 6 year's from the last time we saw each other. Both in the Marine Corps, at the same place in Viet Nam doing the same thing together again. I shall never forget our talks and the day you went away, it was two days before my 21st birthday July 8, 1969. The sorrow I felt then is still deep within my heart and mind. Each year that has passed, has not changed those feelings about you not coming home. I miss you my brother and will always hold you up in my thoughts and prayers.
