do not stand at my grave and weep
Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there. I did not die.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there. I did not die.

Thank you for your service
I was 1 and half months old when he was killed. So obviously I was too young to remember him. But our family were close friends of the Crockett family. His parents were like another set of grandparents to me when I was younger. I wish I could say I remember him and would have liked to meet him. He is one of my influences to join the military. Thank you to all who have served and sacrificed for our country! God Bless the USA!

Member of Davys Squad
I had the privilege of being a member of Davy's squad when he was in B company 1/5. Davy was a great Marine and a natural leader. He never lost his love for Texas. I ran into Davy just as he was returning to Nam for a second tour. We wished each other luck and went on our way. So sorry to discover he didn't make it back home.
