Bracelet

I feel as if I know Dennis Cressey as I wore and still have his bracelet. I always talked to him and prayed for him. Tonight I put his name in a search and found his picture. It was as if I lost a dear friend, although I knew his remains had been found. All these years and never having seen his face. I am so blessed to have had the honor of wearing his bracelet. If his family wants it, I am happy to send it. He had a twin brother, Douglas and a sister Dixie. I would love to hear about Dennis. Thank you, Julie

POW Bracelet

I wore his bracelet for several years. Lost is years ago - would love to get it back. I see it was found in Atlanta, GA. Whoever found it would it be possible to get it back?

Remembering an American Hero

Dear Captain Dennis Clarke Cressey, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.

With respect, and the best salute a civilian can muster for you, Sir

Curt Carter

RIP Denny

Denny and I were best of friends during Nav Training at Mather AFB. We played on Squadron softball team where he was our fast pitch pitcher of record. We played a lot of golf together. I still have a pair of his golf shoes that I just cannot throw away. Miss him every day. He is in my prayers.
